Joanna obtained her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Cellular, Anatomical and Physiological Sciences, followed by a Master of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology, both from UBC.
During law school, Joanna served as President of the Allard IP Club, Vice President External for Legal Education Outreach, and represented the law school at the Wilson Moot. She was also awarded the Tracey Gibb Memorial Scholarship in Law in recognition of her academic excellence.
Joanna joined the firm as a summer student in 2023 and is currently working in the Intellectual Property Group.
