Michelle completed her J.D. at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of British Columbia and worked in various healthcare settings.
During her studies, Michelle was actively involved with Queen’s Legal Aid and received the Dan Soberman Award for her excellent file work and dedication to the community. She has interned at the Canadian Bar Association in the Strategic and International Initiatives Department and worked as a research assistant to Professor Lisa Kelly. Michelle also represented Queen’s University at the Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition, hosted by the American Red Cross.
