Briana MacEachern

Briana is a dedicated employment and labour lawyer with a practice focused on advising employers across Western Canada on the full spectrum of workplace legal matters. Briana brings a strategic, client-centered approach to navigating the complexities of Canadian employment and labour law.

With extensive experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments, Briana advises clients on matters such as employee discipline and termination, workplace investigations, employment contracts and policies, human rights issues, occupational health, and compliance with provincial and federal employment standards legislations. Briana routinely represents clients involved in employment disputes before courts, tribunals, and arbitrators, including the Alberta Court of Justice, Alberta Court of King’s Bench, Alberta Labour Relations Board, and the Alberta Human Rights Commission. Briana also regularly advises clients on employment considerations and issues in merger and acquisition related work.

Briana has acted for clients across a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, retail, financial services, construction, and technology. Briana is known for providing practical, risk-sensitive guidance to employers grounded in deep legal knowledge and real-world understanding.
