Tamara is an associate in Osler’s disputes group. She maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice with a growing emphasis on corporate and securities litigation, class action defence and emerging and high growth company matters.
She has experience defending privacy, consumer and banking class actions, and working on all aspects of an M&A transaction, including related corporate governance and shareholder disputes.
Tamara also maintains a pro-bono practice advising athletes and coaches on sports related disputes before the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada.
While in law school, Tamara worked as a research assistant to Professor Richard H. McLaren, O.C. focusing on insolvency and restructuring, secured transactions, sport law appeals and sport governance projects. Prior to obtaining her J.D. from Western University, Tamara earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Western University, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology/Criminology.
Tamara joined Osler as a summer student in 2021 and completed her articles with the firm in 2022-2023.
