Guy has completed his second year of law school at the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC). While at law school, Guy completed an externship at Mountain Equipment Company and represented UBC at the National Labour Arbitration Competition.

Prior to law school, Guy obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management with a specialization in finance and strategic management. After graduating from McGill, Guy worked as a business operations analyst for ClearEstate, a financial technologies company based out of Montreal.
