John is a first-year JD candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School. He comes to law having completed both an Honours BA and an MA in Philosophy at the University of Saskatchewan and York University, respectively, graduating Summa Cum Laude from each. During his undergraduate degree, John founded the Philosophy Student Society, served as a Teaching Assistant, and was awarded the Department of Philosophy Convocation Award for Highest Academic Standing. At York, he held multiple graduate fellowships and scholarships. Currently, John is a Staff Writer for Obiter Dicta, Osgoode’s student newspaper, where he has published on topics including law schools as sites of reconciliation. He looks forward to contributing to Osler’s Toronto office this summer.
